Looks like Hilton sent around another round of targeted “vacation ownership” offers (timeshare offers). Check your email inbox to see if you were sent this very decent offer:
$149 for 3/nights 4/days at 14 locations and 100K Hilton points worth $1000* after attending the 2 hour presentation.

Locations:
- Orlando, FL
- Las Vegas, NV
- Myrtle Beach, SC
- Scottsdale, AZ
- Daytona Beach, FL
- Virginia Beach, VA
- Hilton Head, SC
- Williamsburg, VA
- Gatlinburg, TN
- Southern California
- Park City, UT
From personal experience, I’ve found that it’s much better to call and speak to someone about the offer instead of booking online. The sales department is motivated to get your offer and you may have success in asking for more than what is offered at face value… for instance, more points or a different preferred location. In short, it never hurts to ask, and more often than not you’ll be presented with a second better offer than the one given at face value.
*Hilton is valuing the points at 1 cent a piece in their promotion (hence the $1000 value the are touting in the email). When the average value for Hilton’s points is .005 cent a point which makes the value more in the $500 value range.
I often get much more value out of Hilton points when booking a trip using all points at places that have higher resort fees and taxes. Award bookings don’t pay taxes or resort fees and the 5th night is free when booking with all points, your value per point can be much greater then .005cents a points using these methods.
